Tip #7: Be realistic.
It is easy to get carried away when you start organizing and have ideas and plans about what your space is going to look like when you’re done. Remember that organizing can also be exhausting. It takes a lot of energy, both physically and mentally, to clear your space. Be realistic about what you want to get from your purging and decluttering. Use your goal, bring yourself back. Be realistic about what you are willing to keep, and willing to get rid of. Be realistic about what is important to you and what will make your space your own. Know your space and the capacity. Know your budget. Know what makes you happy. Don’t get distracted by Fixer Upper or anything on HGTV.
Be realistic in your space and your values.
